Victim support

Category: relationshipsjkt @ 14:28

I received a call today from Victim Support, a national charity of victims of crime in the UK. They are contacted by the police in the event of any crime.

I certainly don’t need any support from them, but I spent a few minutes talking about some things: the event, previous events and related bits and pieces. The lady (I didn’t get a name – very unusual for me!) was audibly shocked that it was not taken further by the police, but when I explained their reasoning – that despite a witness being present, because the witness was biased, it came down to one person’s word against another’s – she understood.

I’m tossing up whether to write more about the events of last Sunday. They’re definitely going to shape my future, and therefore Zachary’s, so it may be cathartic to do so. Will see how I feel in a few days.

Another early morning ride

Category: fitnessjkt @ 07:03

In an effort to maintain a regular sleeping pattern, I went to bed early, took various meds and had one of the best night’s sleeps in a while. So, when 5am came around, I was feeling good about going out for a ride. That was until I put my ass down on the seat: quite some bruising there!

Anyway, the charts which click through to the route – as usual – are below:

Oh, and I hit a new top speed, 48.93kmph(30mph)!
