Post Christmas

Being on vacation appeals to me and my body. Waking in the afternoon and going to sleep in the morning is a model I could become accustomed to. But I’m all too aware I need to switch back to usual schedule in the coming days.

Christmas was lovely, starting with cuddles in the morning before some gifts and then good food. The evening contained even more food as I was invited round to a friend’s house while Emma worked.

I spoke with Zachary briefly during the day and was delighted to hear the pooing reindeer Santa got him went down a storm. Yummy chocolate poo.

After spending Christmas Eve at Emma’s parents’ we decamped back to the corporate flat where we’ve been staying since. There have been evenings of films, seeing friends and a lot of chatter, very much what I’ve needed after the last weeks of stress.

There’s other stuff I could say, but if I start I’ll likely gush soppiness everywhere, and that would be messy for the Internet. I’ll leave it at this: 2010 is looking to be a much better year than 2009 even dreamed it could be.
