The weather’s looking good for a flight tomorrow. Here’s hoping the overnight freeze doesn’t postpone flights in the morning.
Assuming I make the connecting flight in NY (I have 1hr 10min to make it through immigration and customs), I’ve been upgraded to first class for the 4hr flight to Austin; seat 1B.
It seems with my newly acquired Gold status with the Frequent Flier program allows me access to the airport lounges, the first class queue on check-in and a few other perks. I look forward to making use of them.
In other news, yesterday, after speaking with a very knowledgeable pharmaceutical scientist, I approached my doctor with some requests for specific medication. We agreed on a course of treatment which, ultimately, should resolve my sleep issues fully. It may take some time, but will be worth any pain involved in getting there; four months of broken sleep is enough to drive anyone insane.
I’m excited about seeing Emma tomorrow. It’s been a difficult week by all accounts (home and work stresses), and I’ve really been feeling the distance. But tomorrow that decreases to nothing, and much fun will be had *bounce*
